Our Story
Newport Village Animal Hospital was founded in Port Moody in 2016. Established by three partner veterinarians, the clinic was built to offer full-service, locally owned care to the Newport Village community and the broader Tri-Cities region. Over the past decade, we have grown into a hospital serving families from Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby, Anmore, and Belcarra.
Our services have grown alongside our community. Today we offer routine wellness visits, preventive care, advanced on-site diagnostics, surgical services, dental care, and in-home end-of-life care. Our extended hours and same-day appointment availability reflect what a decade of practice has taught us: genuine accessibility matters as much as clinical quality to the families we serve.
Our Philosophy
We believe that an informed pet owner makes better decisions for their animal. When you bring your pet to us, we take the time to walk through what we are seeing, what our concerns are, and what options are available. Through comprehensive exams and a thorough approach to every case, we aim to give you a clear and honest picture of your pet’s health and a knowledgeable path forward.
Our practice is guided by the commitment every veterinarian makes when they receive their licence: to apply scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of animals and the people who care for them. That commitment shapes how we work each day, from a straightforward check-up to support through the most difficult decisions a pet owner faces.
